Ticket Holders

• ADMISSION & IDENTIFICATION: This ticket grants access to beverage and food vendors during HOPS Beer Fest (Day 1) and VINE Wine Fest (Day 2). Entry to all licensed areas is restricted to guests aged 19 and older. Two (2) pieces of valid government-issued ID are required at wristband collection and at the point of any beverage purchase. Guests unable to provide valid ID will be refused entry to licensed areas without refund. CANVAS (Day 3) is open to all ages and is a free, publicly accessible day — no ticket or ID is required for CANVAS entry.
• NON-TRANSFERABLE: This ticket is non-transferable and is valid only for the original purchaser. It may not be resold, gifted, or transferred to another individual.
• RAIN OR SHINE & REFUND POLICY: All ticket sales are final. The festival takes place rain or shine. No refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued due to inclement weather, personal scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances within the attendee’s control.
• CANCELLATION & FORCE MAJEURE: In the event that Painter’s Palette is cancelled or substantially disrupted due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ reasonable control — including but not limited to extreme weather events, natural disaster, wildfire, flooding, road closures, public health emergencies, or government-imposed restrictions — refunds will be issued at the sole discretion of Palate Events Ltd. In any such case, the organizers’ liability to ticket holders shall not exceed the face value of the ticket purchased. No additional compensation will be owed.
• LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Attendance at Painter’s Palette involves inherent risks, including but not limited to outdoor environments, uneven terrain, crowds, noise, and the consumption of alcohol. By attending, guests voluntarily assume all such risks. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Palate Events Ltd. and Painter’s Lodge, and their respective officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and partners, are released from any and all liability for personal injury, illness, loss of life, or damage to or loss of property arising from attendance at the event, including claims arising from the negligence of the organizers or venue.
• PERSONAL PROPERTY: Palate Events Ltd. and Painter’s Lodge accept no responsibility for personal belongings brought onto the festival grounds. Guests are advised to keep valuables secured at all times. Lost or stolen items should be reported to the festival information desk.
• CONDUCT: All guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and safe manner toward other attendees, staff, volunteers, vendors, and the venue. Management and security staff reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the premises, any individual displaying unsafe, intoxicated, threatening, or disrespectful behaviour. Removal will be carried out without refund. Guests who are removed may be reported to local authorities if warranted.
• ALCOHOL SERVICE: No outside alcohol is permitted on festival grounds at any time. Festival staff and licensed servers reserve the right to refuse the sale or service of alcohol to any individual at their sole discretion, without obligation to provide a reason. Guests who appear intoxicated may be refused service and asked to leave festival grounds.
• SMOKING & VAPING: Smoking and vaping are permitted in designated areas only. Designated smoking areas will be clearly marked on the festival site map. Guests found smoking or vaping outside of designated areas may be asked to leave the festival grounds without refund.
• MEDIA CONSENT: By attending Painter’s Palette, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded for promotional and marketing purposes by Palate Events Ltd., Painter’s Lodge, and their respective partners and media representatives. Images and footage may be used across print, digital, broadcast, and social media channels without compensation or further notice.
• PRIVACY: Personal information collected at the time of ticket purchase — including name, email address, and payment details — is used solely for event administration, ticketing, and communications directly related to the festival. Palate Events Ltd. handles all personal data in accordance with applicable British Columbia privacy legislation, including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

HOTEL GUESTs

• HOTEL CHECK-IN: All resort guests must register at the front desk upon arrival. Two (2) pieces of valid government-issued photo ID per guest and a valid credit card for incidentals are required at check-in. Guests who are unable to provide the required identification or a valid credit card may be refused check-in.
• TICKET & WRISTBAND COLLECTION: Festival passes and Paint Chip tokens are not distributed by Painter’s Lodge staff at check-in. You will receive detailed festival check-in instructions by September 12th. Wristband collection is handled separately at the festival entry point and requires valid ID. Entry to all licensed areas is restricted to guests aged 19 and older. Two (2) pieces of valid government-issued ID are required at wristband collection and at the point of any beverage purchase. Guests unable to provide valid ID will be refused entry to licensed areas without refund. CANVAS (Day 3) is open to all ages and is a free, publicly accessible day — no ticket or ID is required for CANVAS entry.
• PARKING: One (1) vehicle parking pass is included per room. Whole Crew Package bookings receive three (3) passes. Parking passes are non-transferable and valid only for the duration of the registered guest’s stay.
• FESTIVAL ACCESS: Your Weekender or Day Pass grants access to HOPS Beer Fest (Day 1) and/or VINE Wine Fest (Day 2) beverage and food vendors. Access to licensed areas is restricted to guests aged 19 and older with valid ID, as outlined above.
• RAIN OR SHINE & REFUND POLICY: The festival takes place rain or shine. No refunds, exchanges, or credits will be issued for the festival ticket portion of any package due to inclement weather, personal scheduling conflicts, or other circumstances within the guest’s control.
• ROOM CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS: Rooms are non-fundable except with written approval from Palate Festival Administration. Cancellation of a room reservation automatically voids all associated festival tickets. In cases of documented emergencies, refunds may be considered at the organizers’ discretion; valid proof will be required.
• CANCELLATION & FORCE MAJEURE: In the event that Painter’s Palette is cancelled or substantially disrupted due to circumstances beyond the organizers’ reasonable control — including but not limited to extreme weather events, natural disaster, wildfire, flooding, road closures, public health emergencies, or government-imposed restrictions — festival ticket refunds will be issued at the sole discretion of Palate Events Ltd. Room refund eligibility in such circumstances remains subject to Painter’s Lodge’s standard cancellation terms. In any such case, the organizers’ liability to guests shall not exceed the face value of the affected festival ticket or package. No additional compensation will be owed.
• GUEST SAFETY & ROOM ENTRY: For the safety and wellbeing of all guests, resort and event staff reserve the right to request permission to enter a guest room if there is reasonable concern for a guest’s safety or the safety of others. Guests are expected to cooperate in good faith. This provision does not limit any rights Painter’s Lodge may have under applicable law or its standard accommodation terms.
• LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK: Attendance at Painter’s Palette involves inherent risks, including but not limited to outdoor environments, uneven terrain, crowds, noise, and the consumption of alcohol. By attending, guests voluntarily assume all such risks. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Palate Events Ltd. and Painter’s Lodge, and their respective officers, employees, agents, volunteers, and partners, are released from any and all liability for personal injury, illness, loss of life, or damage to or loss of property arising from attendance at the event or from the guest’s stay at the resort, including claims arising from the negligence of the organizers or venue.

Removal from the festival does not entitle a guest to a room refund, and removal from the resort does not entitle a guest to a festival ticket refund. Guests who are removed may be reported to local authorities if warranted.

Guests found smoking or vaping outside of designated areas may be asked to leave the festival grounds without refund. Smoking or vaping inside resort rooms or non-designated indoor areas is strictly prohibited and may result in additional cleaning fees charged to the room.
• MEDIA CONSENT: By attending Painter’s Palette, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded for promotional and marketing purposes by Palate Events Ltd., Painter’s Lodge, and their respective partners and media representatives. Images and footage may be used across print, digital, broadcast, and social media channels without compensation or further notice.
• PRIVACY: Personal information collected at the time of booking, ticket purchase, or check-in — including name, email address, payment details, and identification — is used solely for standard hotel operations, event administration, and communications directly related to the festival and your stay.
